Day 2 in Nubra: ADGP Ladakh inspects ongoing works at Deskit, Panamic, Sumur

LEH: On the second day of visit to border areas in Nubra Sub-Division ADGP, Head of Ladakh Police, Dr. S.D Singh Jamwal accompanied by S.P Leh, PD Nitya; AIG (Prov), PHQ Ladakh, Sonam Dechen visited Police Station Nubra, Police Post Panamic and Sumur.

The police team was accorded a grand traditional reception by the people and Deskit, Sumur and Panamic.

During the visit ADGP Ladakh inspected and reviewed various ongoing works and other policing works of Police at Deskit, Panamic and Sumur, inaugurated new building for Police Post Panamic in presence of large number of public.

The officer also visited the Police Public Library established by Ladakh Police at Sumur Nubra and Police Check Post North & South Pullu and satisfied various services provided by police at these police posts. He asked police men deployed in the areas to work sincerely and dedicatedly.

ADGP Ladakh accompanied by S.P Leh and AIG Provision PHQ Ladakh also inspected the proposed land for establishment of Ladakh Police Training School at Tirith Nubra and passed necessary directions for early establishment of the Training School for capacity building of police personnel.

During the visit ADGP Ladakh attended and chaired police public meeting at Deskit, Panamic and Sumur.

Further, he heard their grievances and assured to redress the issues at appropriate level. He also discussed various policing and security related issues during the meeting.
