Leh: CEC Tashi Gyalson who’s the Executive Councillor for Health, convened a meeting today to discuss various issues related to health sector in Leh.

Need for dental posts under NHM, enhancing specialist medical camps in Tangtse and Nyoma, requirement of Physician at CHC Khaltse, roadmaps for the formation of Medical & Dental Councils in Ladakh and various other issues were discussed during the meeting.
Officials of Health Department apprised CEC Gyalson with issues regarding time bound promotion for doctors and grievances of outsourced doctors and medical staffs under NHM to which H’CEC informed that the matter is under consideration at Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India.
Recently engaged super specialists under NHM and regarding their placements were also discussed during the meeting.
The meeting was attended by Director Health Services Ladakh, MD NHM, ACR Leh, CMO Leh, and Director Coordinatior NDHM Leh.
