Leh: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, eleven new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday.
While a total of 214 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh 148 sample reports in Leh and 55 sample reports in Kargil were found to be negative. The bulletin further informs that twenty-one patients were cured and discharged, all of them were discharged by CMO Leh.
UT Ladakh received 11 positive sample all were received by CMO Leh, all of them were received by CMO Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is, 83 out of which 69 active cases are in Leh district and 14 active cases are in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 1688 passengers were screened at the KBR, Leh airport while 376 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and 146 passengers were screened at Upshi Check post today.
