Leh: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, seventeen new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday.
While a total of 343 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh 265 sample reports in Leh and 59 sample reports in Kargil were found to be negative. The bulletin further informs that thirteen patients were cured and discharged. All patients were discharged by CMO Leh. UT Ladakh has received seventeen positive sample reports. All were received by CMO Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 111, out of which 109 active cases are in Leh district and 2 active case is in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 2201 passengers were screened at the KBR, Leh airport while 487
passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and 147 passengers were screened at Upshi Check post today.
