Leh: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, seventeen new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday.
While a total of 260 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh 171 sample reports in Leh and 72 sample reports in Kargil were found to be negative. The bulletin further informs that fourteen patients were cured and discharged. All patients were discharged by CMO Leh. UT Ladakh has received seventeen positive sample reports. Out of which 16 were received by CMO Leh. And 1 was received by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 107, out of which 105 active cases are in Leh district and 2 active case is in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 2016 passengers were screened at the KBR, Leh airport while 795
passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and 178 passengers were screened at Upshi Check post today.
