Councilor Sheikh Mehdi provides Musical Instruments to High School Minjee

Leh: Councilor LAHDC Baroo-Minee Constituency Ghulam Mehdi Sheikh provided Musical Instrument worth Two Lakh Rupees to Government High School Minjee from Councilor’s Constituency Development Funds.

He handed over the instruments to Headmaster HS Minjee in presence of other teaching staff members Sunday.

The Councilor has also provided Five Lakh Rupees for construction of separate Washroom facilities for girls as the school has emerged as one of the largest girl enrolled high schools in Kargil District.

Almost 70% of work has been done on the said construction and it will soon be made functional for the girl students from the upcoming academic session.

Earlier, Ghulam Mehdi Sheikh has also provided ample funds for construction Library interiors, Purchase of Generator Set, Smart Board, Projector and heating appliances for the School.

The school authorities have expressed gratitude to the Councilor for his generous gesture and appreciated his personal efforts regarding the development of Educational activities in the schools.

On this occasion, Mehdi sheikh has assured all possible support to the development of education in the future too.
