Cooperative Dept. distributes fresh vegetables at Zanskar

Kargil: Department of Cooperative Zanskar Saturday distributed fresh vegetables among the general public of Zanskar.

Officials said huge numbers of public were standing in queues at Cooperative Shopping Complex to get fresh vegetables.

The department distributed 60 quintals of fresh vegetables like. tomato, cauliflower, cabbage, watermelon etc. received from Kargil through a truck, dispatched by the District Administration on March 10 to disburse it among the public of Zanskar.

Later, the general public appreciated the move of the Cooperative Department for providing fresh vegetables for the public in this season.
