Comm Secy Sahu frames panels for implementation of NAQIUM

Leh: The Commissioner Secretary, General Administration Department, Ajeet Kumar Sahu, Ladakh on Monday framed two panels for the implementation of the National Aquifer Mapping (NAQIUM) programme in the Union territory.

As per the order issued by Commissioner Secretary, General Administration Department, Ajeet Kumar Sahu has constituted two separate panels for districts Leh and Kargil.

Both panels comprises seven members and are headed by respective Deputy Commissioners of the districts.

The panels are mandated for the planning of Ground Water Management at the district Level  Convergence of groundwater management initiatives under various schemes and Coordination with nodal agencies for implementation of groundwater management interventions at district level.
