Leh: Advisor Narula has asked all autonomous bodies as well as institutions to clear all pending electricity dues as part of the union government initiative to improve financial health of Power Distribution Companies in India.

As per the order issued by Advisor Narula, all the departments of UT Ladakh, operating the Grant-ln-Aid General for the Local Bodies/Autonomous institutions are advised to seek a Confirmation Certificate from the Bodies to the effect that they have cleared the charges on account of electricity consumption.
The order further informed that the DDO’s will further certify that no pending dues exist against electricity consumption and same may be placed while seeking sanction for the release of subsequent grant.
