As part of the nationwide observance of Good Governance Week 2025, a week-long outreach programme under the theme “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” was successfully organised at Khaltse and Skurbuchan Blocks of Sub-Division Khaltse, with the objective of ensuring saturation of flagship government schemes at the grassroots level.
The programme was conducted under the supervision of Incharge Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Khaltse, Asgar Ali. The camps were organised at the SDM Office Ground, Khaltse, and the Community Health Centre (CHC), Skurbuchan. At Skurbuchan Block, the camp was supervised by Naib Tehsildar Mohd Iqbal.
Officers and officials from multiple departments, including Revenue, Health, Animal and Sheep Husbandry, Agriculture, Horticulture, ICDS, Cooperative, Rural Development, Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, I&FC, PHE, R&B, PDD, Forest, and Library and Information, participated actively to provide on-the-spot services. Departmental stalls were set up to disseminate information and showcase various welfare and flagship schemes.
Addressing the gathering, Incharge SDM Asgar Ali briefed beneficiaries about the objectives of Good Governance Week and urged them to avail maximum benefits from the camps. The Revenue Department provided on-the-spot services such as issuance of Income, ST, LRC, ALC, Legal Heir, Property, Dependent and Ownership Certificates, issuance of ST certificates in the new format, and attestation of inheritance mutations.
Other departments facilitated services related to KCC loans, PM-KISAN, Aadhaar enrolment, PMMVY, Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), and distribution of medicines and deworming for livestock. Public grievances were also received and addressed, with assurances given for early resolution through concerned departments.
Additionally, the Health Department conducted comprehensive health check-ups and screenings, while creating awareness and facilitating registration for ABHA IDs and Golden Cards under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, further strengthening citizen-centric service delivery during the Good Governance Week.
