Leh, Dec 22:
Under the ongoing ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore–2025’ campaign, a Mimang–Si–sJabstogs (Administration at Your Doorstep) outreach camp was successfully organised at the Community Hall, Dasi Pema Centre, aimed at strengthening public outreach and ensuring access to government services at the grassroots level.
The camp was received by Nambardar Das Pema and Nambardar Upper Das Pema, who welcomed the Nodal Officer Smt. Ruth Mary, AD FCS & CA, Leh, along with officials from various line departments.
Officers from Horticulture, Power Development, Health, Social Welfare, Public Health Engineering (PHE), Rural Development, Education, and other departments interacted with villagers, disseminated information on departmental schemes, facilitated service delivery, and addressed public grievances on the spot.
The Nodal Officer apprised residents about the Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS & CA) ration distribution system, including ration supply schedules and procedures for addition or deletion of members in ration cards. Beneficiaries were encouraged to avail the benefits of government schemes, with assurances of prompt resolution of genuine issues.
Mr. Kifayat Hussain, Manager, Centre for Financial Literacy (CFL), informed villagers about the DEA Fund initiative of the RBI for settlement of unclaimed deposits. He also shared details on the UDGAM Portal, Re-KYC procedures, cyber fraud prevention, self-employment schemes such as PMEGP and PMFME, and social security schemes including PMSBY and PMJJBY. CFL staff provided on-the-spot assistance and scheme linkages.
During the interaction, villagers appreciated the efforts of the PHE Department for the successful implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission, expressing satisfaction over the availability of safe and adequate drinking water and noting that the village has achieved 100 per cent household tap water connectivity.
Residents submitted applications and grievances during the camp, which were duly received by the Nodal Officer with assurances of appropriate follow-up through the concerned departments. The outreach programme witnessed active participation from the local community, reaffirming the Administration’s commitment to accessible, responsive, and citizen-centric governance under the ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore–2025’ initiative.
