Leh: Ladakh haj Committee Tuesday issued fresh guidelines for the aspiring Haj-2023 pilgrims and advised the aspirants not to upload the blurred scanned documents and while uploading the Bank passbook/cancelled check make it sure the it include 16 digit account no and IFSC code of the concerned bank, otherwise the scrutiny cannot be completed and the cover no will not be generated.

As per the notification issued by the Haj Committee UT Ladakh, it is for the information of all those aspirants who intend to undertake Haj journey 1444(H)-2023(CE) that Haj Committee of India has already invited Online Haj Application Forms w.e.f 10/02/2023.

“Before filing the application form online, the concerned Haj aspirant/ aspirants is/are hereby requested to not to upload the blurred scanned documents and while uploading the Bank passbook/cancelled check make it sure the it include 16 digit account no and IFSC code of the concerned bank, otherwise the scrutiny cannot be completed and the cover no will not be generated,” it read.

Further, while Hall Committee India Circular No. HC-24/52/2022-21/982, dated 17.02.2023 has intimated Amendment in the Haj Guidelines regarding Age restrictions for Haj – 2023.

It has been intimated that the authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have decided that children below the age of 12 year are not allowed to proceed for Haj 1444 (H) – 2023 (C.E.) considering the fact that it is not appropriate to accompany children under the age of 12 years to ensure their safety.

In view of the position explained above, “no application of children below the age of 12 years (as on 30.04.2023) including infants will be entertained for Hajj 1444(H)-2023(CE.).

Therefore, all Haj Applications of children below 12 years including infants registered till date will be rejected for Haj 1444 (H)-2023(CE.)”.

It is expected that the authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia might stipulate further health and administrative guidelines in view of the prevailing conditions. The same shall be notified accordingly in due course of time.
