Leh: The Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Leh, Advocate Tashi Gyalson chaired a meeting in Leh to review preparations for the upcoming Ladakh dPal rNgam Duston to be celebrated on 5th August 2022 on the occasion of UT declaration day of Ladakh.
Executive Councillor for Art/Culture, Stanzin Chosphel; Executive Councillor for Minority, Ghulam Mehdi; Executive Councillor for RDD, Tashi Namgyal Yakzee; DC Leh, Shrikant Suse, ADC Leh, Sonam Chosjor along with all the departmental heads, the concerned stakeholders, and eminents scholars from Art and Culture background attended the meeting today.
CEC Gyalson stressed on making the event an all-inclusive one highlighting the traditions and customs of the different parts of the region. He instructed the concerned officers to exercise on the concepts for the themes discussed during the meeting, awards and the different events to be included, such as literary contest, heritage walk, musical concert, food and theme-based exhibition stalls.
CEC Gyalson instructed the departmental heads and the concerned officers to ensure that the Ladakh rPal rNgam Duston is celebrated in a grand manner keeping intact the aim, objective and vision of the event which focuses on celebrating the pride of Ladakh.
