CEC Tashi leads 77th Independence Day celebrations in Leh
Leh: LAHDC Leh celebrated the nation’s 77th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson hoisted the national flag at the Council Secretariat, LAHDC Leh today.
“Greetings to the citizens on the auspicious occasion of India’s 77th Independence Day. Let us remember the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters to secure our nation’s sovereignty. Ladakh has achieved remarkable progress in various sectors since the formation of Union Territory and we must all strive to work together to build a stronger, more inclusive, and prosperous Ladakh,” CEC Tashi Gyalson said in his message.
Among those present on the occasion was Dy. Chairman Tsering Angchuk, Executive Councillor for Minority Affairs, Ghulam Mehdi Ashoor; Executive Councillor for Rural Dev. Dept. Tashi Namgyal Yakzee; Executive Councillor for Agriculture, Stanzin Chosphel; Deputy Commissioner/CEO LAHDC, Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve; Councillors of LAHDC Leh, District Officers, and various other dignitaries and officials.
