Leh: At a symbolic function organised at Dak Stago, Spituk Farka, the Chairman/CEC, Adv. Tashi Gyalson distributed plots to the Ex-Servicemen community of Ladakh Scouts, Indian Army of Leh district today.
Around 290-plus plots were distributed to the ex-servicemen of Ladakh Scouts which included retired JCOs, Sepoys, and the Veer Naaris of the martyred army personnel.
In his message, CEC Gyalson stated that Ladakh Scout is an integral part of the Indian Army and has been playing a major role in safeguarding the nation’s border and its integrity. He added that Hill Council Leh in particular and the people of Ladakh at large would never forget the sacrifices and contributions of the local heroes and would further ensure all possible support to strengthen the community in the future.
The Ex-Servicemen League Ladakh led by its President, Hon. Captain Sonam Morup expressed their heartfelt gratitude to CEC Gyalson for his support in allotting the lands to their community today.
