CEC Tashi Gyalson reviews final preparations as HH Dalai Lama sets to arrive in Leh tomorrow

Leh: The Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson visited the teaching ground and Photang Geyphel-ling at Jive-Tsal, Choglamsar, today to review the final preparations before the arrival of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama to Ladakh.

He inspected all the work done by different departments at the sites including providing protection bunds along the Indus river, installation of an Elevator, macadamizing roads, CCTV Cameras, Street lamps, etc. Expressing satisfaction over the work done by the line departments under the guidance of LAHDC Leh and UT administration Ladakh, CEC Gyalson appreciated all the officers and officials for successfully completing the given tasks on time.

He further appealed to the people of Ladakh to ensure a grand reception to His Holiness on his arrival and hoped for a pleasant stay of H.H the 14th Dalai Lama showering his blessings on the people of Ladakh this summer.

CEC Gyalson was accompanied by MP Ladakh, DC Leh, SP Leh, ADC Leh, President LBA, President LGA, President LBA Youth Wing, Security Advisor to H.H the 14th Dalai Lama, Senior Officer of CISF KBR Airport, SE PWD, SE PDD, SE Hydraulic, Xens of PWD, PHE, I&FC, LDA, TD NIC, and their subordinates, CRO Ladakh, caretakers of Photang Geyphel-ling and various other concerned officials.
