Leh: The Chairman/CEC LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi; Union Home Minister, Amit Shah; BJP National President, J.P Nadda, and the leaders of NDA for nominating Draupadi Murmu as the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) for the 2022 presidential election in India.
CEC Gyalson stated “I on behalf of the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, Leh in particular and the people of Ladakh in general feel elated to receive the news of the nomination of Smt. Draupadi Murmu as the official candidate of NDA for the 2022 presidential election. Nominating a Tribal Woman for the presidential election is not only an honor to all the tribal communities residing in India, but it also reflects the clear intention of the Narendra Modi-led BJP Government to uplift/empower the downtrodden/marginalised society, especially the tribal community of India at large.”
He further hoped that her understanding of grassroots problems and her extraordinary vision for India’s development would be fulfilled/materialised with her appointment as the President of this nation. In his message, he appealed to all the tribal states to vote in favor of Smt. Draupadi Murmu to be the next President of India.
