CEC reviews plans for Diamond Jubilee Celebration of Ladakh Scouts
LEH: Chairman/CEC, Tashi Gyalson convened a meeting Tuesday with the committee members to review and discuss plans for the Diamond Jubilee celebration of Ladakh Scouts by LAHDC Leh this year.
CEC Gyalson emphasised the importance of making the event a grand success and further requested all the committee members to work together to ensure that the celebrations are carried out in a grand manner.
He added that the celebration should be a proud moment for the people of Ladakh and a tribute to the brave soldiers of Ladakh Scouts.
As decided earlier, LAHDC Leh will be celebrating the Diamond Jubilee Anniversary as a tribute to mark the 60 glorious years of Ladakh Scouts in service to the nation.
It was decided that the celebration would showcase the rich history of Ladakh Scouts, its role in Ladakh society, and Ladakhi civilian laisoning with the Indian Army.
The meeting was attended by the EC Minority Affairs, Ghulam Mehdi; EC Art & Culture, Stanzin Chosphel; Councillor Panamik, Tsering Sandup; DC/CEO LAHDC Leh Shrikant Balasaheb Suse; Commandant, Ladakh Scout; Director Sainik Welfare, UT Ladakh; Deputy Secretary SOCA Grade-I Cultural Academy Leh ; Committee members for the celebration of Diamond Jubilee of Ladakh Scout & President All Ladakh Transport Association (ALTA) Leh.
