Leh, Sep 07: The Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson and MP Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal visited Tar village of Khaltse sub-division on their second joint tour today. They were accompanied by Councillor Khaltse Constituency, Lobzang Sherab, ADDC Leh, Sonam Norboo, Xen PDD, Tundup Spalzang, other district officials, and sub-divisional officials led by Tehsildar Khaltse, Tanveer Ahmed.

The officials trekked to Tar village and inaugurated a 4G Mobile Tower and dedicated it to the people. CEC and MP also inaugurated the electrification of Tar village under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana and further launched the Jal Jeevan Mission project in the village. They also laid the foundation stone for the construction of the link road to Tar village.

Terming it historic, CEC Gyalson, MP JTN, and Councillor Sherab congratulated the people of Tar village on the current achievements and further assured them that the link road to Tar village would soon get completed in the coming days. They also assured to address all the other grievances put before them by the villagers.

Later, CEC Gyalson and MP JTN in the presence of Councillor Sherab and district/sub-divisional officers inaugurated a Dinning Hall at the Tribal Hostel, Khaltse, and also laid the foundation stone for the construction of a conference hall at Block HQ Khaltse.
