The Hon’ble Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson, felicitated Ven. Stanzin Nurbo, Resource Person at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Leh, in recognition of his dedicated efforts towards the preservation and promotion of the Bhoti language.
During their meeting, Ven. Stanzin Nurbo apprised the Hon’ble CEC of the wide-ranging initiatives he has undertaken over the past two years. These include the creation of Teaching Learning Materials (TLM), development of Bhoti textbooks, teacher training programmes, tutorial classes, and the establishment of Bhoti Labs across government and private schools in Ladakh. His initiatives have benefitted hundreds of students and teachers, significantly strengthening Bhoti education in the region.
Ven. Nurbo also highlighted the recent LAHDC Leh–DIET Leh collaboration with the launch of Bhoti Tsomrik Tsagshok, a monthly publication promoting literature and language skills among government school students.
Appreciating his tireless work, the Hon’ble CEC, Adv. Tashi Gyalson, assured the continued support of LAHDC Leh for initiatives that safeguard and promote the Bhoti language, culture, and heritage of Ladakh.
