Leh:
Hon’ble Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson, today visited Palam to inspect the ongoing construction works of the Community Gathering Centre. He reviewed the progress achieved so far and was briefed about the project details by Nasreen Maryam, President of the Women Wing of Anjuman Immamia, along with executive members of the association.
Hon’ble Nominated Councillor, Mumtaz Hussain, also accompanied the Hon’ble CEC during the visit.
During the inspection, the President and members of Anjuman Imamia apprised the Hon’ble CEC about the construction status and issues pertaining to the Detailed Project Report (DPR). They requested his intervention for addressing the challenges related to the requisitioning of the DPR to ensure smooth progress of the project.
The Hon’ble CEC gave a patient hearing to their concerns and assured all possible support from the Hill Council to resolve the issues at the earliest, reaffirming the Council’s commitment towards the welfare and development of the community.
