CEC Gyalson for promotion, preservation, development of Bhoti language

Leh: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson chaired a meeting with the concerned stakeholders regarding the development of Bhoti TLM (Teaching Learning Material) along with other creative tools, with the prime objective of promotion, preservation and development of Bhoti language by piquing the interest of the children and the students towards Bhoti and for mass awareness among public as well.

Deputy Chairman, Tsering Angchuk; EC Tashi Namgyal Yakzee; Nominated Councillor, Konchok Tsephel; Chief Planning Officer Leh, Tsewang Gyaltson; Dy Secretary, Cultural Academy, Tsewang Paljor; Chief Education Officer, Leh, S D Namgyal; District Education Planning Officer, Leh, Sonam Wangchuk; Sr Editor, Cultural Academy, Dr Thupstan Nurboo; Resource Person Gyen Stanzin Nurboo; Principal Lamdon School; Principal Ladakh Public School; representatives from Delhi Public School, Leh; Moravian School and CIBS Choglamsar and other concerned officials attended the meeting.

The meeting deliberated on the promotion and development of the innovative tools and TLM developed by Gyen Stanzin Nurboo which will be further supported by LAHDC Leh, to achieve the desired purpose and goal.

Acknowledging its objectives and appreciating the dedication of Gyen Nurboo for initiating the development of Bhoti TLM and other innovative and creative tools, all participants agreed on further developing the materials and tools as per the suggested feedbacks to have wider implications.

CEC Gyalson instructed the concerned officials to form a committee to streamline the way forward in an effective and collaborative manner dedicated in achieving the objective of promoting, preserving and developing Bhoti language with modern innovative means.
