CEC Gyalson, CE Vijayak enquire about status of opening of Zojila road

Leh: Chairman/CEC, Adv. Tashi Gyalson was called upon by Chief Engineer, Project Vojayak, Brig. Vinay Behl Sunday.

C.E Vijayak was accompanied by Commander 16 BRTF, M Lunneithang Kom, and OC 81 RCC, Lalitesh Jha.

C.E Vijayak apprised CEC about the status of major ongoing projects of Vijayak especially the roads of Khaltse-Batalik, Turtuk-Hanu, etc.

He further informed about the status of widening of Leh-Nubra road beyond Khardung-la and other projects as well.

CEC Tashi Gyalson discussed the issues of local labours engaged in BRO especially those in the Khaltse-Batalik sector and requested C.E Vijayak for immediate re-engagement of labours disengaged due to shortages of funds.

He further enquired with C.E. Vijayak about the status of the opening of Zojila road.

Appreciating the works of Project Vijayak, CEC Gyalson assured continuous assistance from the Hill Council, Leh for Project Vijayak of BRO in their future endeavours.
