CEC Gyalson assesses ongoing dev projects in Leh

Leh: To assess the ongoing development projects at various sites around Leh town, Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson visited those sites including Cooperative Super Bazaar, legacy waste clearing site at Bomb Garh Leh and New Transport Stand near Bomb Garh Leh.

DC Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve; President, MC Leh, Dr Ishey Namgyal; Director, ULB Ladakh, Dr Zahida Bano; ADC Leh, Sonam Chosjor; SE, R&B; EO, MC Leh; Tehsildar, Leh; District Officer, LPCC; Xen Construction Leh and other concerned officers were also present during the visit.

During the visit, CEC Gyalson and the team deliberated on the ongoing and upcoming/proposed projects at the sites and directed the concerned officers to prepare the necessary DPRs and to discuss the plans for optimum utilization of the sites for developmental purposes such as construction of Labour Sarai and Bus Depot and several extensions plans of the sites were also discussed.

Marking a pre-exercise of the upcoming Indian Swachhata League to be held on Sept 17th, CEC and the officers took a Swachhata Pledge at Bomb Garh.

While reviewing the status of clearing the league waste at Bomb Garh which is on its verge of completion, CEC Gyalson also appealed to the public and the youths to actively participate in the cleanliness drive and be conscious of the waste generated.
