CEC Feroz Khan listens historic 100th episode of PM Modi’s Mann Ki Baat in Kargil


Kargil: Chairman and CEC, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmed Khan along with Executive Councilors, State Awardees and students Sunday listened to the historic 100th episode of the radio program, Mann Ki Baat by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi here at Conference Hall, LAHDC Secretariat.

Executive Councilor Social Welfare, Syed Mehdi Fazily, Councilor Taisuru, Syed Abbas Razvi, Councilor Thasgam, Abdul Rahim, State Awardees from Kargil District, athletes from Sports Authority of India, Kargil, volunteers from Young Artists of Kargil, besides other concerned officers attended the program.

Addressing the participants, the CEC said that event has been organized to felicitate the listening of the 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat among youth across the District.

He said the way Radio has been chosen as the medium for the program signifies that the program should be accessible to the last person of the country.

The CEC said the way innovative works done in society are being promoted and appreciated through the program by the Prime Minister is commendable and inspirational.

Khan thanked the invitees for joining the event and listening the historic episode of the Mann Ki Baat. He asked them to convey the messages of the program to others.

The monthly radio program was aired at 11 a.m. which was broadcast live across the country and at various locations worldwide, including the United Nations Headquarters.

Since its inception on October 3, 2014, the program has become an essential component of the government’s citizen outreach strategy, focusing on a variety of social groups like farmers, young people, and women, and has inspired community action.
