Leh: Chairman, CEC, Tashi Gyalson, LAHDC Leh in the presence of DC/CEO, LAHDC Leh Santosh Sukhadeve convened a meeting at the Council Secretariat to review the upgradation of Saboo-Mahabodhi Road and to address the challenges faced in the execution of the project.
The meeting centred around removing existing hurdles and ensuring timely and coordinated efforts by all concerned departments.
During the meeting, the Chairman highlighted the strategic significance of the Saboo Road for public convenience and overall development.
He directed all departments to extend full cooperation and ensure seamless coordination to expedite the project.
The Power Development Department was instructed to assist the executing agency by promptly dismantling obstructing electric poles.
The Municipal Committee was asked to provide the necessary support to ensure uninterrupted progress of the work.
Directions were also issued to remove the compound wall of the nearby School, wherever required, to facilitate road widening.
