CEC Congratulates People of Leh Ladakh on Approval of PM SHRI Schools
Leh: Chairman/CEC, Tashi Gyalson congratulates the people of Leh Ladakh, especially the students, parents, and staffs of the schools recently notified as Prime Minister’s Schools for Rising India (PM SHRI) schools by the Union Cabinet’s Expert Committee. CEC Gyalson expressed his gratitude to the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, for his assistance in approving these schools under this prestigious scheme.
CEC Gyalson also lauded the tireless efforts of Dy Chairman/EC Education, LAHDC Leh, Tsering Angchuk, MP Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, Principal Secretary School Education Department Ladakh Sanjeev Khirwar, Director School Education Ladakh, Chief Education Officer Leh, and Zonal Education officers, who worked tirelessly to get this much-needed scheme for the schools of Leh, Ladakh.
Through this scheme, CEC Tashi Gyalson hopes to see Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of strengthening schools and promoting the growth of students come to fruition. He stated that these schools will play a crucial role in the development and growth of students, and we are excited to see the positive impact this scheme will have on the students of Leh Ladakh.
The newly approved central sponsored scheme ‘PM SHRI’, which was approved on September 7, 2022, will serve as exemplar school that showcases the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020. The schools will provide leadership to other schools in the region by offering high-quality education in an equitable, inclusive, and joyful school environment that takes care of the diverse backgrounds, multilingual needs, and different academic abilities of children.
