Leh: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson chaired a meeting in the presence of DC/CEO, LAHDC Leh, Romil Singh Donk, and CPO Leh, Tsewang Gyalson.
The meeting was attended by CEO Education Department,Dr. Delden Angmo; Bharatarshabha Dasa, National President, The Akshaya Patra Foundation; Tejas S., General Manager (PR), and Deepak Chugh, Operations Head.
Detailed discussions were held on introducing hot mid-day meals under the PM Poshan scheme for students of government schools in Leh district in collaboration with The Akshaya Patra Foundation. It was discussed that Akshaya Patra shall establish kitchen facilities at a centralised location and supply hot meals to the schools. The members also deliberated on the space requirement, modalities of implementation, and other necessary arrangements for the initiative.
The H’CEC assured that LAHDC Leh would extend necessary support.
