Leh: The Chairman/CEC, Adv. Tashi Gyalson attended the closing session of the District level Yuva Utsav as the chief guest.
The celebration has been organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra, Leh in collaboration with Kendriya Vidyalaya Leh.

While addressing the gathering, CEC Tashi Gyalson stated that youths are one of the key elements towards nation-building and strengthening the integrity of the nation.
He added that it is our duty to follow fundamental duties which come in parallel to the fundamental rights for which youths require good vision and proper guidance right from their childhood. Emphasising the youth’s role in a larger context, CEC Gyalson urges the younger generation to contribute collectively to developing Ladakh keeping in view the strategic importance of the geography and preservation of the fragile ecosystem of Ladakh.
Earlier, competitions in various genres including poetry, painting, declamation, photography, youth convention, cultural contest, etc., were conducted, and later prizes were distributed among the top participants. Students from different schools in the Leh district took part in the District Yuva Utsav held in Leh.
Councillor Chushot, Mirza Hussain; Dy Director NYK Leh, Tejamul Ara; Principal KV School, Phuntsog Wangyal, Veteran Ladakhi Theatre Artist, Mipham Otsal; Veteran Ladakhi Singer, Dorjey Stakmo besides various teachers, students from different schools and volunteers of NYK were Amon present during the occasion.
