Capex Budget: CEC directs officers to complete formalities within two days
Kargil: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan in presence of Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve convened meeting to review the expenditure of Capex and LAHDC Subsidy Budget and directed concerned officers to complete all formalities within two days.
The meeting was attended by Superintending Engineer PHE Maqbool Hussain, Superintending Engineer R&B Abdul Mutalib, Project Officer Wages (ACD) Ghulam Muhammad, Chief Planning Officer (CPO) Abdul Hadi, Chief Medical Officer Kargil Munawar Hussain Wazir, Executive Engineers of R&B, I&FC, SVD Sankoo, REW, Mechanical Division, Accounts Officer to DC and various other officers of their respective departments.
At the outset, the CEC took a sector wise review of physical targets achieved and expenditure incurred under R&B, PHE, RDD, Health and various other departments.
The CPO Kargil briefed the meeting about the department-wise physical and financial achievements and also presented the expenditure report of each department. District officers also informed the meeting about the status of their expenditures till date.
The meeting also discussed Urban-Rural Development and the officers of the concerned department assured to complete all minor pending formalities within two days.
The CMO also presented the expenditure report of the health department in the meeting.
During the meeting R&B Department requested for additional funds to which the CEC instructed the concerned officers for the same.
The expenditure process of funds in KREDA and Soil Conservation were also discussed in detail and the concerned officers presented the report of their expenditure.
During the meeting, the Subsidy Component under LAHDC was also discussed in detail.
The CEC expressed dissatisfaction and observed that despite giving go-ahead for works earlier in the Financial Year, a number of expenditures were yet to be done.
He instructed the concerned officers to complete the all formalities within two days.
In the end, the CEC and the DC Kargil jointly passed the instructions to the concerned departments to complete all pending minor formalities within two days, otherwise, surrender the savings. The meeting was held on March 15.
