Block Level Training Program of School Health & Wellness Ambassadors concludes


SANKOO: A 5-day Block Level Training session for School Health Ambassadors under Ayushman Baharat Health & Wellness Programme was concluded on Friday at CHC Training Hall.

This Training was organized by Zonal Education Officer Sankoo (ZEO) in collaboration With Block Medical Officer (BMO) Community Health Center Sankoo, Kargil aimed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to implement the program effectively in schools.

On the occasion, Dr Zahida Khatoon Block Medical Officer CHC Sankoo and Shri Hadi Ali Zonal Education Officer Sankoo was the chief guest for the occasion on the Concluding day of training.

The program was attended by 200 teachers called as School Health Ambassadors from different Government and private school all the blocks of Sankoo zone were provided training on various health issues.

The first session were featured by Dr Villayat Ali chainmo Senior Lecture DIET Kargil who is Nodel Officer was the resource person for the session.

He presented a module on How projection lead to harmful emotion details of application through PPT to the selected ambassadors.

During the training, the teachers were provided training on safety and security, mental health, interpersonal relationship, gender equality, health, sanitation, prevention and management of substance abuse, promotion of healthy lifestyle, reproductive health and HIV, growing healthy, promotion of safe use of the internet and social media, and value and citizenship.

The School Health and Wellness Program signified a proactive approach towards nurturing healthy habits and positive relationships among the youth in the Sankoo Zone.
