
Block Development Council chairs review meeting
Kargil: The Block Development Council Drass Block Noor Mohammad today chaired a meeting to review the various development works in Drass Block.
Addressing the gathering Principal HSS Drass said the construction works is almost complete and urge BDC to construct a 24/7 library.
After that BMO Drass enlighten about different scheme and various construction purposes. He also said in specialisation only a surgeon is filled. Due to lack of specialised doctors most of the patients are referred to DH Kargil.
He also said owing to increase in number of stray dogs, 20 dog bite cases are registered in one month. Later, the representative of Animal Husbandry Department said that a team will visit the Sub Division to sterilize stray dogs.
Other officers also enlighten about their schemes and their progress during the current year. The BDC also gave a patient hearing to grievances of Panchs and Sarpanchs.
