Skurbuchan: Tsering Paldan, President of Skurbuchan Mandal, met Lt Governor of UT Ladakh Brig (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd) along with senior officials from UT Ladakh including the Chief Secretary Dr Pawan Kotwal (IAS)and Principal Secretary (School Edu/HUD/Industries) Sanjeev Khirwar (IAS).
At the meeting, Paldan brought up development requirements for the area, such as blacktopping of Kapto-Lehdoo, Skurbuchan-Stambordo, and Achinathang to Achina Lungba roads to enhance accessibility.
He also sought funding for a sports complex at Dha Village and construction of an access road and prefabricated huts for Aryan Yak Herders at Hanu.
Furthermore, Paldan also sought the transfer of Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs) since their term has expired to its full extent, with a view to sustained development in the education sector.
Paldan praised the visionary leadership of PM Narendra Modi for his significant contributions to India’s growth, and his commitment to Ladakh’s development.
In expressing his gratitude, Paldan acknowledged his party’s leadership and unwavering dedication of all the party members to Ladakh’s development, stating that the problems brought forth are part of the larger vision for Ladakh’s development, under the party’s leadership.
Tsering Paldan expressed his gratitude to the Lt Governor Brig (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd) and all the senior officials present for their kind consideration, constructive feedback, and for their dedication towards the development of Ladakh.
The Lt Governor and senior officials assured their complete support for these projects and reiterated the need for continued coordination to ensure development in Skurbuchan Mandal.
