BJP Delegation from Charasa–Burma Thanks CEC Leh and Dy. Chairman for Support on Shatse Taknak Bridge and Other Issues

Leh: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson, was called on by BJP members from Charasa–Burma village. The delegation expressed their gratitude to the Hon’ble CEC and the Deputy Chairman Shri Tsering Angchuk for supporting the long-pending demand of the Shatse Taknak Bridge over the Shayok River to connect Disket with Burma. They appreciated their efforts in taking the matter to Delhi and meeting Hon’ble Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari and Hon’ble MoS for Roads and Highways to push for its sanction.

The members also extended thanks to Councillor Tiger Shri Rigzen Lundup, and Councillor Panamik Shri Tsering Sandup for their recent follow-up visit to Delhi.

The delegation further apprised the Hon’ble CEC of the pressing issues faced by Charasa-Burma villages.

The Hon’ble CEC assured the delegation of his full support and assured that all matters raised would be addressed at the earliest.
