LEH: Bhikkhu Sanghasena had honour to meet and to pay respect to H.H Dr. Ashin Nyanissara Sayadaw, the founder and chancellor of Sitagu International Buddhist Academy, Myanmar to have Ahara Dana offering at the Embassy of Myanmar New-Delhi by H.E Moe Kyaw Aung, the Ambassador of Myanmar to India.
During the visit, they had wide range of discussion with H.E the Ambassador about the promotion Buddha Dhamma for world peace.
Bhikkhu Sanghasena expressed his profound gratitude to H.H Dr. Ashin Nyanissara Sayadaw and excellency ambassador for recommending his name for the prestigious Sadhamma Jotika Award by the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
Bhikkhu Sanghasena will receive this prestigious Sadhamma Jotika Award from the Prime Minister of Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in month of March.
H.H Dr. Ashin Nyanissara Sayadaw is a great admirer of Bhikkhu Sanghasena and his great missionary contribution to the revivals of Buddhism in India.
On the invitation of Bhikkhu Sanghasena, H.H Ashin Nyanissara (Sitagu Sayadaw) and Ambassador of Myanmar have kindly agreed to visit Ladakh during the summer to Ladakh.
H.H Dr. Ashin Nyanissara Sayadaw is one of topmost Buddhist scholars and illustrious Buddhist masters and leaders of the Theravada Buddhist tradition of the present era.
Bhikkhu Sanghasena presented H.H Dr. Ashin Nyanissara Sayadaw a copy of the book “Mahakaruna; a holistic movement for global peace” authored by Dr. Priyaranjan Trivedi and Bhikkhu Sanghasena, recently released at Mahakaruna Diwas on 7th of January 2024, Delhi.
