Awareness cum information program for senior citizens of Leh commences

Leh: Elderline-Ladakh in coordination with the Department of Social and Tribal Welfare (UT Ladakh), Department of Health, UIDAI and J&K Bank organized a two days awareness cum information program for senior citizens Monday.

The awareness cum information program commenced on 20th February and will conclude on 21st February (10:30 am to 4:00 pm) at Leh main market for senior citizens of Ladakh.

All senior citizens aged 55 and above are being made aware in the program.

Senior citizens can resolve issues related to aadhaar card, old age pension and can enroll for golden card (Ayushman Bharat).

They will be  sensitized about Elderline services, Health care related schemes and J&K bank schemes for senior citizens.

All the aforementioned senior citizens are Requested to visit the stalls and avail the benefits. 

The Venue of the program is Leh main market.
