LEH:A block-level awareness camp on Elimination of Gender-based Violence as a part of the National Gender Campaign was organised at Panamik today.
The camp was oragnised in collaboration with line departments, such as Police and Health Department, under the supervision of SDM Nubra.
SHO Diskit, PHC Panamik Dr Bashir and Dr Stanzin provided important information to the participants, including women Self Help Groups and women members about gender-based violence, women health and nutrition.
Participants were also made aware about the significance of NRLM and financial independence.
