Kargil, November 1, 2025: The District Social and Tribal Welfare Office, Kargil, in collaboration with ALIMCO, organized a distribution camp for assistive devices at PHC Trespone on Saturday.
A total of 20 beneficiaries received various mobility and support aids, including wheelchairs, hearing aids, knee braces, and lumbosacral belts. Additionally, items such as cervical collars and walking sticks were distributed to eligible recipients to enhance mobility, comfort, and independence.
The initiative, held under government welfare schemes, aims to empower persons with disabilities and improve their overall quality of life. Officials from the District Social and Tribal Welfare Office reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring that inclusive welfare initiatives reach every deserving individual across the district.
