Archives Department organizes Special Campaign 3.0

Kargil: To promote cleanliness and hygiene at heritage sites, Department of Archives, Archaeology and Museum, UT Ladakh in collaboration with Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department Kargil has undertaken a substantial cleanliness drive as part of the Special Campaign 3.0, ‘Swachhta Hi Sewa’ at Heritage Site Karchey Khar Chamba (Bhudhha Statue).

In this campaign Registrar Archives UT Ladakh, Khadim Hussain, employees of RD&PRD, PRI Members and local villagers participated.

Khadim Hussain said that the initial phase of the cleanliness drive targeted the Heritage Sites and will cover all important places.

He said that during the campaign awareness about the importance of Heritage Sites and it’s preservation and protection was given to the people present and they took a pledge to keep the surroundings near and clean.
