Archives Department organises Swatchta 3.0 campaign

KARGIL: In Ladakh, to promote cleanliness and hygiene at Heritage Site, Department of Archives, Archaeology and Museum UT Ladakh in collaboration with Rural Development Department has undertaken a substantial cleanliness drive as part of the Special Campaign 3.0, ‘Swachhta Hi Sewa’ at Heritage Site Karchey Khar Chamba (Bhudhha Statute).

In this campaign Registrar Archives UT Ladakh Khadim Hussain employees of Rural Department, PRI Members and Local Population participated.

Khadim Hussain while talking to Media said that the initial phase of this cleanliness drive targeted the Heritage Sites and will cover all important places.

He said that during the campaign awareness about the importance of Heritage Sites and it’s preservation and protection was given to the people present there and took pledge to keep the surroundings near and clean.
