Archery selection trials held in Kargil
Kargil: District Youth Services & Sports Officer Kargil Friday deputed its officials for conducting the archery selection trial 2023 of the Archery Association of Ladakh here at Khree Sultan Chow Sports Stadium Kargil.
It was informed that more than 30 male and 10 female archers across Kargil district participated and proved their performance in recurve style, compound style and Indian style.
During the selection trial, 10 males were selected for recurve style, two males were selected for the compound style and five females were selected for the Indian style.
The selected ones will participate in the selection trial at Leh on Feb 26.
After selection at Leh, the selected archers will represent UT Ladakh in the upcoming National Archery Tournaments (NTPC) to be held at Ahmadabad, Gujrat from March 09 to Mar 19.
The Archery Association of Ladakh has expressed gratitude to District Youth Services & Sports Officer Kargil for the deputation of officials for successfully conducting the selection trail.
