Leh, Dec 8, 2025: A special outreach initiative titled “Mimangs-Si-sJabstogs – Administration at Your Doorstep” was held at the Community Hall, Gongmaling, Choglamsar, under the supervision of Smt. Kunzang Wangmo, Chief Horticulture Officer, Leh. The programme aimed to bring government services, welfare schemes, and grievance redressal mechanisms directly to citizens, ensuring last-mile delivery across key developmental sectors.
A total of 22 officers and officials from various departments participated, interacting with residents from Gongmaling, Tashi Thongsmon, and Korzokling. Around 75 citizens attended, receiving guidance on schemes related to Agriculture, Horticulture, PHE, PDD, PWD, Education, Health, Food & Supplies, Rural Development, Animal Husbandry, and bank-linked financial and insurance services.
Departmental officials facilitated on-the-spot registrations for beneficiary-oriented schemes. The Public Health Engineering Department handed over three water-testing kits to area representatives under the JJM scheme, while four Aadhaar cards were updated on site, ensuring smoother access to essential services.
The programme enhanced coordination between the administration and residents, reinforcing the government’s commitment to transparent and participatory governance. The event concluded with an interactive session, where citizens shared feedback, and a formal memorandum of public demands and recommendations was submitted for onward action to the Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC Leh.
