Leh: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Leh, Sonam Nurboo (JKAS), chaired a comprehensive review meeting of the Samagra Shiksha Scheme at the Mini Conference Hall, DC Office Leh, on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the ADDC directed all concerned departments to present detailed updates on the physical and financial progress of their ongoing projects under the scheme. Emphasizing timely execution, he instructed that all works must be completed within the next two months.
He also directed departments to submit a thorough progress report ahead of the next review meeting and ensure that all Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) are submitted to the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Leh without delay to streamline fund releases and monitoring.
CEO Leh, Deldan Angmo, briefed the gathering on the work done so far under the Samagra Shiksha initiative. The review focused on enhancing inter-departmental coordination, improving infrastructure delivery, and ensuring effective utilization of funds.
The meeting was attended by Superintending Engineers from PWD and PDD, Executive Engineers from SSD Khalsi, Nubra, Nyoma, R&B, and REW divisions, Chief Education Officer Leh, and Zonal Education Officers from Leh, Khaltsi, Nubra, Durbuk, and Nyoma, among others.
The ADDC stressed the need for accountability and collective effort to meet the educational development goals under Samagra Shiksha in a time-bound manner.
