Leh, Feb 4: A review meeting on the implementation of the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan (AKA) was held under the chairmanship of Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Leh, Sonam Norboo, JKAS, at the VC Room of the DC Office on Tuesday.
The meeting assessed progress under the initiative, which aims to strengthen last-mile service delivery through the mapping of Adi Seva Kendras (ASKs) across villages in the Union Territory of Ladakh. The ADDC directed Block Development Officers (BDOs) to extend urgent support and submit required details for onward submission to the Government of India.
Officials were asked to furnish comprehensive data, including the list of Adi Seva Kendras with location coordinates, details of Adi Karmayogis (Adi Sathis and Sahyogis) along with their qualifications and experience, and Gram Panchayat clusters grouped based on proximity as per the prescribed format.
The meeting also reviewed the functioning of Solar Renewable Maintenance Centres (SRMCs) under the Ladakh Renewable Energy Development Agency (LREDA). It was emphasised that supervision of SRMCs will continue to be carried out by the respective BDOs. A follow-up meeting will be held shortly to review the progress of implementation.
The meeting was attended physically and virtually by the District Programme Officer ICDS/Assistant Commissioner (Development) Leh, District Social Welfare Officer, District Informatics Officer, District Panchayat Officer and all Block Development Officers of Leh district.
