At the outset, the LDM presented a comprehensive overview of the District’s banking achievements in the areas of deposits, advances, Credit-Deposit Ratio (CDR) and performance under the District Credit Plan (DCP) for the year 2024-25.

He also highlighted the progress made under priority and non-priority sector lending and shared data related to the physical and financial targets achieved under various government-sponsored schemes including PMEGP, PMMY, SVANidhi and SUI.

The ADC also called for a substantial increase in priority sector lending, especially in the areas of agriculture infrastructure, education and social infrastructure.

He stressed on the importance of organizing result-oriented awareness and outreach programmes across the district to boost enrollment under social security schemes and to improve the sponsorship rate of cases under various Government programmes.
