Leh: His Holiness the Dalai Lama consecrated the Sherab Skitsaling Library at Thiksey today. The organisers also took the opportunity to arrange for His Holiness to give a talk on interact with Secular Ethics to over 3000 students followed by a question and answer session at the teaching ground of Thiksey Monastery in Leh, Ladakh. Students from different schools of Ladakh including our students had the unique opportunity to attend and be blessed by His Holiness.
Our student Ms. Kunga Gyalmo questioned His Holiness about competitions which results in envy, jealousy and depression among children. His Holiness responded that there should be competition but with a positive mindset and positive attitude without thinking bad about the other.
Another student of ours, Ms. Stanzin Lzakar got the special opportunity to share her views and experience on Social & ethical learning and the winter coaching conducted by the Sherab Skitsaling library.
