Leh: The union territory of Ladakh has recorded eight new cases of coronavirus pushing the active cases to 137.
“A total of 219 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh 173 sample reports in Leh and 38 sample reports in Kargil were found to be negative,” an official told The News Now.
As per media bulletin, fourteen patients were cured and discharged. All patients were discharged by CMO Leh. UT Ladakh has received eight new positive sample reports.
The bulletin further informs that 2024 passengers were screened at the KBR, Leh airport while 753 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse, 245 were screened at Upshi check post.
