Leh, Feb 9: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Leh, Shree Raam R (IPS), along with district officials, visited the District De-Addiction Centre (DDAC), Leh, and interacted with patients undergoing treatment, encouraging them to remain committed to recovery and rehabilitation.
The visit was conducted in the presence of District Social Welfare Officer Leh, Mohd Safdar Bhat (JKAS), Additional Superintendent of Police Regzin Sangdup (JKPS), and Dy. SP Headquarters Rishab Shukla (IPS).
During the interaction, the SSP personally met the patients, listened to their concerns and motivated them to maintain discipline, adopt a healthy lifestyle and stay confident in their journey towards a drug-free future. The interaction created a positive and encouraging atmosphere at the centre, boosting the morale of both patients and staff.
Officials stated that such visits play a significant role in motivating individuals undergoing treatment and strengthening their resolve towards rehabilitation and reintegration into society, in line with the objectives of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan.
