Leh, Ladakh | January 20, 2026: A five-day Capacity Building Training for Head Teachers of Middle Schools is underway at DIET Leh, organised by DIET Leh in collaboration with GoldenMile Learning (GML). The programme engages 137 head teachers and school administrators from across Ladakh, focusing on strengthening leadership, communication, and safe, inclusive school practices.
The academic leadership of the programme is anchored by Dr. Neepa Oza, Program Director (Education), GoldenMile Learning, who serves as the Chief Trainer.Drawing on her extensive experience in educational leadership and systemic transformation, Dr. Oza is leading the core modules Communication for Connection and Influence, Public Speaking: Debunking the Myth, and Building Teams and Leading Change—designed to equip school leaders with practical, people-centred leadership competencies. These sessions are co-facilitated by Mr. Amol Bapat, Co-Trainer, GoldenMile Learning,whose dynamic facilitation and experiential learning methods significantly enhance participant engagement. And LAHDC Leh RTT Indigenous Trainer Mr. Stanzin Odzer, Mr. Sonam Paldan and Mr. Tundup Namgail, who support the facilitation process and contextual grounding of the training.
The programme is further strengthened by key facilitators including Mrs. Nahida Bano, Special Educator and DIET Leh Facilitator,who brings critical perspectives on inclusive education and learner well-being. Dedicated sessions on Child Safety and School Safety and Security (CCDRR) form an integral part of the programme.
