Nubra, December 19:
As part of Good Governance Week under “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore 2025”, an outreach camp was organised on Friday at Murgi village in Tehsil Sumoor, bringing essential government services directly to local residents.
The camp was conducted under the chairmanship of Tehsildar Sumoor, Tashi Jorgais, with the objective of strengthening citizen-centric governance, ensuring doorstep delivery of services, and providing on-the-spot redressal of public grievances.
Officials from multiple departments interacted with villagers, addressed their concerns and facilitated immediate solutions to issues related to public services and local development. Several applications were processed and grievances resolved on the spot.
During the camp, the Revenue Department issued five electoral roll documents, three resident certificates, three income certificates and four Scheduled Tribe certificates, while 14 Aadhaar card applications were processed.
The Health Department created 19 ABHA IDs, conducted 14 NCD screenings, and provided medical treatment to 15 patients.
The Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department finalised 44 ration cards from Kuri village and 22 from Murgi village.
The Rural Development Department filled 15 Job Cards and 21 Labour Cards, while the Animal and Sheep Husbandry Departments distributed veterinary medicines and provided treatment to 90 livestock.
Officials from other departments also extended assistance as per public requirements.
The programme concluded with Tehsildar Tashi Jorgais reaffirming the administration’s commitment to public welfare and assuring residents of continued support, stating that timely delivery of essential services remains the administration’s top priority.
